Jumbo salutes Good Samaritans on his journey
AWARD-WINNING gospel singer, Lwando “Jumbo” Nyangiwe, has given flowers to those who introduced and helped him in the music industry.
In his lengthy post he mentioned them by name, explaining how they helped him.
“My fellow brethren, today I’d like to thank these two gentlemen, Mxolisi Mhlongo and Dumi Mkokstad. When I met them, my life was not good. Dumi called me from his personal number and gave me a chance. Today, I have a job and it’s all because of you, Nzimande and Njomani.
“When I met you I did not even have clothes but Dumi gave me some of his,” he wrote.
“I’d also like to thank Kamva and Betusile Mcinga for the song, Singenise, that introduced me to the public. I love and respect them because they changed my life. Another person who made a great contribution in my life is Musa Skosana. He helped me with a keyboard.
“I later met DJ Tira. He overlooked my background, instead he focused on my talent. He also helped market my face and ensured I am visible. Thank you so much. Khathi kwande.

“Actually, there are many people who helped me in my music career and I shall be thanking them bit by bit. I also want to thank my fans. Thanks to Team Jumbo and I promise you will never regret following me,” he said.
Crown Gospel Music Awards founder Zanele Mbokazi wrote: “We thank those who made you to be known in the whole world.”
Betusile replied: “You are a blessing to us, Jumbo, and we love you. We help one another. What I love about you is you did not forget to help up-and-coming artists still trying to make it. God bless your generous heart.”
Thato Moleko commented: “May God bless you and bless all those who brought change in your life.”
