Sebelebele: Strengthened by the Support of Pirates
Kamogelo Sebelebele, the newest member of Bafana Bafana, is thriving in the limelight after joining Orlando Pirates, crediting his rising confidence to the unwavering support from Buccaneers fans.
The 23-year-old winger, who made a move from TS Galaxy during the off-season, has quickly become an essential player for the Pirates.
Sebelebele has played in five league matches, netting one goal, and has made a notable impression in the MTN8 Cup, scoring two goals in two matches against Mamelodi Sundowns, helping his team reach the final.
His standout performances with Pirates have drawn the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who has included him in the national team roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho at Dr. Molemela Stadium on Friday and Nigeria next Tuesday.
“Joining Orlando Pirates has dramatically transformed my career, as the support I receive significantly enhances my confidence,” Sebelebele expressed.

“I’m excited to showcase my abilities; when you’re part of smaller clubs, it’s easy to remain unnoticed. Being at a prestigious team now, I’m eager to achieve recognition.”
The growing confidence of Sebelebele is evident, and he is set to make a lasting impact with both Pirates and Bafana Bafana.
His selection for the national team underscores his relentless effort and commitment.
The former TS Galaxy player previously represented Bafana Bafana in the COSAFA Cup last June and is now prepared to excel in crucial matches.
“I’m thrilled and honored to represent my country,” Sebelebele noted.
“I’m looking forward to helping the team secure a place in the World Cup.”
