The price of Ether.fi has experienced a remarkable surge, aligning with the broader crypto market gains. The decentralized, non-custodial Ethereum staking protocol’s native token saw a 25% jump within 24 hours, reaching a notable eight-month high of $1.79.
Overview
- Ether.fi’s price escalated to $1.78 following a 25% rise, enabling bulls to reach an eight-month peak.
- The upward movement of Bitcoin above $120,000 and Ethereum’s increase to $4,500 has contributed to a comprehensive rebound in altcoins.
- The ETHFI token is now aiming for a breakout above the $2.00 barrier.
On Thursday, Ether.fi’s price saw a notable increase of over 25%, allowing bulls to revisit the $1.79 level, which was last seen in January 2025.
This surge to an eight-month high was accompanied by a 123% increase in trading volume, surpassing $225 million. With double-digit gains for the day, ETHFI emerged as one of the standout performers among the top 100 coins by market cap. This momentum signals that the token is consolidating at higher levels after breaking past the $1.4 mark.

Ether.fi’s price rises as Ethereum approaches $4,500
The current price rally occurs amidst significant advancements in the cryptocurrency market, as Bitcoin (BTC) successfully surpassed the $120,000 resistance level, even with potential United States government shutdown concerns. Ethereum (ETH)’s rise to $4,500 has additionally bolstered key ETH-related projects like Ether.fi, Ethena, and EigenLayer.
In this unstable environment for major altcoins, ETHFI is preparing for a potential retest of the $2.00 level.
Alongside the technical breakout, recent initiatives such as EtherFi’s partnership with the crypto platform FalconX and the ETHFI listing on Upbit have played a role in this upward momentum.
Recently, FalconX, a digital asset prime brokerage, established a collaboration with EtherFi to offer support for eETH, a liquid Ethereum restaking token. This token is now accessible through FalconX’s spot, derivatives, and custody services, providing institutional clients with over-the-counter liquidity for eETH.
The Ether.fi team noted that this integration represents a crucial advancement in the decentralized finance protocol’s evolution toward becoming a fully institutional-grade product.
“By integrating eETH across our platform, we’re empowering clients to engage with one of the fastest-growing restaking protocols in ways that seamlessly complement their existing strategies,” remarked Joshua Lim, global co-head of Markets at FalconX.
The total value locked in Ether.fi has now exceeded $11.26 billion.
