Haters’ Time Is Up

JAY-Z took aim at his critics with a freestyle that’s got everyone on the internet buzzing over the latest rap feud.

The rapper, famously known as Jigga Man, called out former collaborators Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, as well as Drake, during a four-minute performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia this past weekend.

He pulled no punches, criticizing them for their comments about him.

The 56-year-old, whose real name is Shawn Carter, seemed particularly annoyed by Kanye’s shocking post last year on X, where West suggested that Jay and wife Beyoncé’s two youngest children had mental challenges.

West remarked: “Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay and Beyoncé’s younger kids? They’re R—Rded.”

On stage, Jay-Z unleashed, stating: “You ever heard of wonder-kid… My children are some of them.”

“Have you n****s no shame? You really wanna get under my skin… I’ll really get under your skin; ask Un how I’m playing.”

The Roc Nation founder then directed his remarks at Nicki Minaj, addressing her rumored substance abuse, her husband Kenneth Petty—who has a rape conviction—and the fact that Petty is legally barred from picking up their child from school.

He rapped: “That lady back on that stuff… She’s like she’s in love with ’em… Her Ken can’t even… take their kid… Enough of them.”

And that’s not all; he criticized the Pink Friday star for her ties to controversial U.S. President Donald Trump.

He added: “A rapper can’t be my opp; I got MAGA Republicans… Those shots came from the very top of the government; good luck with them.”

Next up was Drake.

After keeping a low profile following his humiliation in a rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, Drake made a comeback with his recently released Iceman album.

In the track, Janice STFU, he stated, “the jig is up on you OGs.”

That didn’t sit well, leading Jay-Z to respond in what could be the beginning of another monumental rap feud.

Jigga rhymed: “My net worth went up again; the next update… The jig is up, I’m up 10… wrong chart champ, n***** looked up to Hov; I never looked up to them.”
