I was called the K-word

Former Warriors seam bowler Sinethemba Mjekula says ex-Titans allrounder Pierre Joubert called him the K-word in a four-day game in 2007.

“While I was batting, there were guys around the bat. I’ll block the ball because I need to save the game…

“These guys were getting frustrated. So, Pierre Joubert, said – I don’t know if I have to mention the K-word. Must I? He did say the K-word and what is this guy doing here and all those things.

“They were very close to me, so I took a step away and didn’t tell Rusty because I wanted us to focus on the game. I was like, must I report this to the umpires? But I thought the square leg umpire could have heard this. But I decided to just keep quiet.”
